What file formats do you accept for book printing?

We only accept PDF Files.

How do I submit my files for printing?

Once you place your order, reply with your favorite file sharing link (dropbox, google drive, wetransfer, hightail etc).

    Book Specifications & Options

    What book sizes do you offer?

    Our pricing and selections are based on providing the upper limits of the width and height. We can print custom sizes as long as it's within the limits provided by the selection. We can also resize your document proportionally with no issues.

    What are your minimum and maximum page counts?

    Our page count requirements vary by book type:

    • Softcover Books: 24-500 pages
    • Hardcover Books: 24-500 pages
    • Perfect Bound: 24-500 pages
    • Saddle Stitched: 8-64 pages. Page count needs to be divisible by 4.
    • Spiral Bound: 8-300 pages
    • Smyth Sewn: 48-300 pages. Page count needs to be divisible by 12 or 16.

    What binding options do you offer?

    We offer multiple binding options to suit your needs:

    • Perfect Binding: Most common for books, magazines, and catalogs
    • Staple Saddle Stitching: For booklets, catalogs, and magazines under 64 pages
    • Thread Saddle Sewn Stitching: For booklets, catalogs, and magazines under 64 pages
    • Coil Binding: For manuals, cookbooks, and workbooks
    • Wire-O Binding: Professional presentation for reports and manuals
    • Hardcover Binding: Premium option with case binding
    • Smyth Sewn Binding: For photo books and premium publications

    Printing & Production

    How long does printing take?

    Our standard production times are dependent on the binding type, quantity, and production workflow.

    Typical orders take 2-4 weeks. Production does not start until we get full artwork approval.

    Shipping time is additional and depends on your chosen shipping method.

    Do you offer proof copies?

    Yes, we offer several proof options:

    • Digital Proof: Free PDF proof for review
    • Hard Copy Loose Proof: minimum $50 for a few key pages.

    Hard copy proofs will extend the turnaround time. It takes 3 days to print a hard proof and more time if you want to ship. Let us know by responding to the order confirmation and we can send a separate invoice for the hard proof and shipping.

    What finishing options are available?

    What are your minimum order quantities?

    We can print just one book. View our selections to see which products we design to print 1 copy of. 

    We offer volume discounts for larger quantities. Contact us for custom pricing on orders of 500+ copies.

    Do you offer volume discounts?

    Yes, contact us for custom quotes.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept the following payment methods:

    • Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
    • Bank Transfer: For large orders

    Payment is required before production begins.

    Shipping & Delivery

    What shipping options do you offer?

    We offer multiple shipping options:

    • Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days
    • Express Shipping: 2-3 business days
    • Overnight Shipping: Next business day delivery
    • Freight: For large orders and pallets

    Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, destination, and delivery speed. 

    Do you ship internationally?

    We do not support international shipping through Plentitude.

    Do you offer design services?

    Can you help with file preparation?

    Generally, no, but we can provide quick support and advice. Our Plentitude File Check runs comprehensive reports to ensure you catch print quality challenges.

    Quality & Support

    What is your quality guarantee?

    We stand behind the quality of our work:

    • Our promise: We can't give Amazon-like satisfaction guarantees as a small business. If you're not satisfied, we'll investigate and if we deem the quality defect was our responsibility, we'll reprint at no cost. 
    • Color Accuracy: We use GMG color software to target color profiles rather than let our devices determine color.
    • Print Quality: We calibrate daily. We print one project at a time. That means we provide more attention than automated printers can.
    • Material Quality: We use only premium papers and materials. All papers are FSC certified.
    • Binding Quality: We bind all of our projects in-house. We're one of the rare companies that print at the highest quality and bind in-house, which is why our reputation is so high.
